Dr. Christine Holland, Economist, has been with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since June 2020. She provides economic analytics and policy leadership in the transportation electrification arena. Dr. Holland is passionate about forecasting new technologies. She has led or is leading efforts in light-duty electric vehicle (EV) adoption for distribution planning, as well as medium- and heavy-duty (MHD) EV adoption strategies for the Department of Defense. Additionally, Dr. Holland has led multiple analyses studying the impacts of bus fleet electrification with and without stationary storage, as well as MHD large-fleet vehicle-to-grid applications. Also, she has economically analyzed several microgrid applications for numerous disadvantaged communities.
