Her advocacy is focused on reducing transportation emissions to protect public health, improve air quality, and address the climate crisis. She serves on the National Center for Sustainable Transportation Leadership Council and is a board director for Evergreen Action and the League of American Bicyclists. Previously, she served as the clean transportation advocate at Sierra Club California, where she led the chapter's transportation policy work at the California Air Resources Board and the state legislature. Katherine earned her master of public administration from Baruch College in New York City and her bachelor of arts in communications at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
