Xantha Bruso is a Principal on PG&E’s Clean Energy Transportation team, where she leads projects to quantify the impact of EV load on the grid and on rates, and facilitates adoption of optimized charging and vehicle-to-grid integration technologies. Xantha previously led the transportation electrification practice at Energy & Environmental Economics, served as a Principal on Cadmus’s Strategic Electrification team, and led automated vehicle policy and partnerships at AAA’s Mountain West division. While at PG&E from 2006-2018, she held various roles in Energy Policy & Procurement, Corporate Sustainability, and Regulatory Affairs, where she conducted analysis and advocacy on major California environmental policies including the Cap-and-Invest program, the Low Carbon Fuel Standard, and the California Solar Initiative. Xantha earned a Master of City Planning degree from MIT, an MBA from Presidio Graduate School, and a BA from Dartmouth College. Outside of work, Xantha serves as the Board President of the Marin County Bicycle Coalition.
