Issamar Pichardo is the Environmental Justice Specialist and Tribal Liaison at the Colorado Energy Office (CEO). She is a board member at the Community Access Enterprise Board that funds transportation programs. Issamar has worked closely with the transportation team as they launched new rebate programs and helps test messaging and applications with communities to improve the program. With more than 15 years of experience she has been working with underrepresented communities at a local and international level on a variety of social justice areas. Issamar works on connecting gaps between communities and decision makers as she is a cultural broker and connection weaver. Since she joined CEO in 2022, her goal is to make sure all people are represented as we transition into a future powered by clean energy.
