Sarah Thorne is a Senior Program Manager on the Transportation team at the Colorado Energy Office (CEO) and manages all things e-bikes, including the State of Colorado’s e-bike rebate and tax credit. Prior to her work at CEO, Sarah served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Kyrgyzstan and the Philippines and worked in the energy industry helping emerging economies develop their renewable energy resources and sustainable energy markets and industries. Sarah ditched her car in 2014, and has been an avid public transit and bike rider ever since. She received an e-bike rebate in 2022 and bought an e-cargo bike, the "minivan" of bikes, and uses it to cart her kids around and even make trips to Costco. When not at work, you can find Sarah looking for the best tacos, buying too many plants, and enjoying the ample breweries found in Colorado.
