Tandy Tabata is a Product Manager for Electrification of Transportation at Hawaiian Electric, where she leads initiatives that accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure across Hawaiʻi. With over a decade of experience in utility strategy, program design, and stakeholder engagement, Tandy works at the intersection of clean energy policy, grid innovation, and real‑world implementation. She holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business and is active in sustainability and community organizations focused on advancing equitable clean transportation solutions. Outside of the office, Tandy also serves as an Assistant Scout Master and Sustainability Merit Badge Counselor where she engages the next generation of leaders in understanding the links between natural resources and community resilience.
