Charles Gerena is the lead organizer of Drive Electric RVA, the Richmond, Va.-based chapter of the Electric Vehicle Association. Through a variety of outreach and educational efforts, the group promotes electric vehicles as a fun, practical and sustainable transportation choice. Gerena’s day job is using the tools of storytelling and digital communication to make economics relevant to people’s daily lives at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Gerena earned a bachelor's degree in technical writing from the New York Institute of Technology in 1991.
