Thea Yagerlener (they/them) is a Senior Program Manager at IREC, where they support Charging Smart, a national program that provides technical assistance and recognition to help local governments accelerate the deployment of EV charging infrastructure. Their work supports communities in adopting EV charging best practices across planning, land use regulations, government operations, and utility engagement. Previously, Thea led climate action strategies at the City of Ann Arbor, MI, focusing on building decarbonization, greenhouse gas accounting, and rebate programs. They hold a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University
