David Hamilton is a RPF and a researcher studying electric logging trucks. David has recently completed a PhD from Oregon State University and specialized in tools and technologies for electric log truck feasibility. He has a Masters in Geomatics and Environmental Management from UBC and a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management from UBC. His background includes working as operations supervisor for the UBC’s Alex Fraser Research Forest. David has served as a sessional lecturer in forest policy at Oregon State University and has a background in forest operations, project management and GIS programming, as well as over a decade of experience as a forest engineer.
