Ry Armstrong (they/them) is an impact-driven nonprofit leader and the Executive Director of the Zero Emission Vehicle Cooperative (ZEV). Based in Seattle, Ry brings a wealth of experience in progressive organizing, creative strategy, and cross-sector advocacy to the cooperative, championing equitable access to sustainable transportation and charging infrastructure. With a strong background in community empowerment and labor advocacy, Ry serves as an elected member of the National Council of AEA (AFL‑CIO) and as an MLK Labor delegate for SAG‑AFTRA, driving initiatives that secure fair wages, worker protections, and resilient civic infrastructure. Recognized as a “2024 Outstanding Voice in the LGBTQ+ Community” by the Puget Sound Business Journal, Ry is an out queer/trans leader dedicated to building inclusive, high-impact programs.
