Johannes Ariens is the CEO of Range Zero Emissions — a national, multi-OEM zero-emission commercial vehicle dealership platform operating across the Western U.S. and Midwest. Range represents vehicles across Class 1–8, partnering with the leading manufacturers bringing electric and hydrogen-powered commercial fleets to market. The industry has largely solved the technology problem — what it hasn't solved is how to sell it. Zero-emission vehicles are being taken to market using the same playbook as the products they're replacing, and it isn't working. Johannes' view is that this is fundamentally a commercialization problem, and that dealers and early adopters are the ones who close the gap — or don't. That conviction is what he brings to the roundtable. His focus is the commercial side of electrification — the distribution model, the customer adoption curve, and what it actually takes to move units at scale in medium and heavy-duty categories. He believes the industry is at an inflection point where the technology story is largely written, and the go-to-market story is still wide open. That's where he spends his time.
