David Hamilton is a RPF and a researcher studying electric logging trucks. David has a Masters in Geomatics and environmental management from UBC and a Bachelor of Science in forest resource management from UBC. His background includes working as operations supervisor for the UBC’s Alex Fraser Research Forest. David has served as a sessional lecturer in forest policy at Oregon State University and has a background in forest operations, project management and GIS programming, as well as over a decade of experience as a forest engineer. While at Oregon State University David invented several heavy duty vehicle technologies which his company Makua Energy is commercializing.
