Ron Thiele is the founder and CEO of Xpan, a global leader in developing workforce solutions for the public transportation industry. He also chairs the American Public Transportation Association's Business Member Workforce Development Committee. Since 2001, Ron has led a strong team of passionate learning and technology experts to increase engagement, performance, and competency for dozens of global transit agencies. His philosophy views learning as a human-centred solution with technology as a valuable conduit. As a speaker, he advocates for open learning cultures and has been at the podium at Austin’s SXSW, The Banff Centre, the Institute for Performance and Learning, and he has been a long time contributor to APTA's workforce development initiatives.
