Stefan Tongur is VP of Strategic Development at Electreon, the global leader in wireless charging solutions for electric vehicles, which recently expanded its North American footprint by acquiring InductEV. He leads the company's market development across transit, ports, rail, and autonomous vehicle applications. He has also been instrumental in launching the country's first wireless charging roadway projects, including initiatives in Michigan, California, and Utah. Most recently, Stefan secured California's first wireless electric road project in partnership with Calstart, which will charge battery-electric buses and shuttles while standing still and in-motion. His doctoral research on business models for electric road systems underpins more than a decade of work at the intersection of charging infrastructure, vehicle OEMs, and policy.
