Description
Most of the federal investment in charging will be limited initially to fast chargers within one mile of key highway corridors, to increase confidence for long range trips. However, 95% of trips are less than 30 miles. To improve utilization and the economics of charging, corridor charging must serve these local travel needs as well. This panel will explore how to maximize local community benefits when planning charging corridors, the importance of bringing multiple perspectives to the table, and opportunities to leverage corridor charging to increase equitable charging access.
