Mrs. Alexander-Stubblefield is an instructional design specialist for the D+R International Learn Team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and her Master of Science in cell and molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania.



A former science and STEM teacher, as well as adjunct professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Mrs. Alexander-Stubblefield has designed curriculum for nine years. She has designed energy curriculum based on the next generation science standards. She also participated in the PECO Energizing Education Program which is a partnership between the Philadelphia Electric Company and the National Energy Education Development Program aimed at providing teachers with energy education workshops and hands-on energy experiment kits to implement in their classroom.



With the D+R Learn Team, she has built synchronous and asynchronous lessons to engage a broad spectrum of learners. Her previous work consists of various Advanced Water Heating Initiative learning modules providing education around commercial heat pump water heaters. Her current work consists of instructor-led and online on-demand training focused on building and transportation electrification. She also coordinates the development of an electric vehicle strategic plan for a generation and transmission cooperative. Mrs. Alexander-Stubblefield is the lead instructional designer for all electric mobility related projects.
Anissa Stubblefield
