Dakoury works at the intersection of the grid and vehicle electrification. More specifically, Dakoury focuses on ensuring the regulatory and policy reform needed to prepare the grid to accommodate medium and heavy-duty charging loads in a timely fashion. Some of the crucial parts of his work include writing regulatory comments, conducting research and advocating for charging infrastructure related best practices.

Prior to joining EDF, Dakoury was selected to be a Clean Energy Fellow as part of the RAY Fellowship Program. As a Clean Energy fellow working at the Electrification Coalition, Dakoury supported EV-friendly policy efforts in a variety of states, researched the resilience potential of school buses and helped coordinate a business council with leading businesses in the EV space.
