Susan’s passion for combining good design and combating climate change led her to start her career in green building, where she ran the firm Sage Design, LLC. She continued to expand her interests in clean energy and building science, working as a Senior Director for Conservation Services Group and the Executive Director of the Energy an Environmental Building Alliance. She joined the clean energy non-profit E4TheFuture in 2016, as the Director of Energy Projects. In 2018, when transportation overtook buildings as the sector responsible for the majority of GHG emissions, and Susan and the E4TheFuture team designed the income-tiered EV car sharing program “Good2Go” in greater Boston Environmental Justice communities, which launched in 2020. Susan became the Executive Director of Good2Go, LLC in 2021, and oversees the operation of the program while working to advance polices to promote equity in the transportation decarbonization revolution. Good2Go membership and usage has increased 300% in the last year and is positioned to expand into additional cities in the coming year.
