Kirk Brown | Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, REACH strategies
Kirk founded REACH Strategies based on a 20-year career helping organizations achieve their goals by linking smart campaign, communications, organizational development, and business strategies. REACH is based on the premise that success in today's information economy requires that these aspects of an organization's overall operation be tightly linked and mutually reinforcing. REACH clients include a mix of non-profits, foundations, and businesses that share a vision of creating a healthier, more secure world for us all. While REACH works across the communications strategy continuum - e.g., strategy & planning, outreach, training/coaching, media monitoring/evaluation - its work within the electric vehicle realm has focused on developing and executing test drive events featuring PEVs. Why? Because it is, in our estimation, the highest leverage venue to directly introduce thousands of potential electric vehicle customers to the cars. Read more...
Successful events not only make the direct case about the EV purchase to targeted, likely-to-purchase customers, but they leverage growing investments from a host of participants in cars and charging infrastructure. Conducting events throughout specific geographies can help reinforce positive market feedback loops involving a virtuous circle of growing peer-to-peer market acceptance at both the individual and large organization (e.g., agency or corporate) level. REACH has successfully managed outreach campaigns across states and jurisdictions over the past years, working with leading non-profits such as Plug in America, every electric vehicle manufacturer, a raft of local, state and federal government agencies, and utilities.
