She studied in economics (Bachelors and Masters in Economic Policy, National University) and environmental management (Masters and Doctorate Degree, Yale University). She co-chaired the Platform for Low-Emissions Development Strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean which she helped launch. She was a Steering Committee member of UNEP Emissions Gap Report 2012-2016. She was a WEF Global Agenda Council member in 2015-2016. She is a member of the Advisory Board of "State of the Union" - the most authoritative annual review of the state of Costa Rica and of the magazine of environmental sciences in Costa Rica (Revista de Ciencias Ambientales). The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs named her "Personality of the Future" in 2014. In 2016 she gave a TED talk about Costa Rica. In December 2016, she was a member of the world's largest all-female expedition to Antarctica - a leadership initiative by Homeward Bound.

Robert Bertini

Dr. Bertini received the National Science Foundation CAREER Award, where he developed an online multimodal transportation data repository that is a platform for performance measurement, modeling and prediction. The recipient of many awards, he received the DeFazio Transportation Hall of Fame Award and was invited to deliver the Melvin Webber Lecture at the University of California Transportation Center, and the Ogden Lecture at Monash University in Australia. He has been named Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board for the TUMCREATE program "Toward the Ultimate Public Transport System," by the Technical University of Munich and National Research Foundation of Singapore. Bertini was the founding director of the Portland State University Intelligent Transportation Systems Laboratory and of the Oregon Transportation Research and Education Consortium (OTREC), a statewide, university transportation center focused on sustainable transportation solutions. He also served in the Obama Administration as Deputy Administrator of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA) at the U.S. Department of Transportation (now known as OST-R) where he also led the Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office and chaired the Department's Innovation Council. He was also on the faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at his alma mater, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, where he developed the Transportation Engineering Student Project Area (TESPA) and co-led the award-winning Institute of Transportation Engineers student chapter. Bertini earned his B.S. (cum laude) in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University, and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. Dr. Bertini is a licensed professional engineer in Florida, California and Oregon and has been recognized as a Fellow with the American Society of Civil Engineers, Fellow with the Institute of Transportation Engineers, and Senior Member with IEEE.

Keith has previously worked for E.ON, delivering their sustainable cities programme, and for Birmingham City Council, leading on environmental programmes, climate change and energy. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts and Technology in 2009 in recognition of his work on tackling climate change.

Britta Gross She sits on the Board of Directors of the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA) and the Alliance for Transportation Electrification (ATE), and serves as a Governor appointee on both the Massachusetts Zero Emission Vehicle Commission and the Maryland Electric Vehicle and Infrastructure Commission. In addition, she is a Commissioner for the Orlando Utility Commission, Orlando's electric and water utility. Ms. Gross has received numerous industry awards including Automotive News' "Electrifying 100", the 2013 GreenBiz "Verge 25" award, and a USCAR Special Recognition Award, and speaks regularly to national audiences on topics related to alternative fuels in transportation.

He serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC). He serves on NARUC's Electricity Committee and Critical Infrastructure Committee. He is the immediate past president of the Mid-Atlantic Conference of Regulatory Utilities Commissioners (MACRUC), and serves on the MACRUC board of directors. In addition, Chairman Haque was elected to serve on the Member Representative Committee of the North American Electric Reliability Corporation where he represents state government interests in maintaining reliability of the electric grid. Passionate about public service, Chairman Haque is heavily involved in his local community. He has served on a few non-profit boards, and currently serves on the board of trustees of The Columbus Academy. Additionally, he is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy, and was a long-time mentor in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters school-based mentor program. Chairman Haque is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University where he received a bachelor's degree in chemistry and political science, graduating cum laude with department honors. He received his juris doctorate from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and received the Outstanding Recent Alumnus Award from Moritz in 2015.

Sustainable mobility plays therefore a key role in the development of smart sustainable urban areas. As former CEO of ProRail, the Netherland's Rail Infrastructure Organization and Chairman of the European Infrastructure Management Organization, Mr. Klerk was responsible for the construction of the dedicated rail freight line between the port of Rotterdam and the German border.

Jason then worked as the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance's policy advisor, before heading to Salem where he worked for the Oregon Public Utility Commission. Jason had a broad portfolio of work for the Commission including a brief turn having oversight of Energy Trust activities. While with the Oregon Commission Jason led work on GHG regulation, environmental compliance, electric vehicles, energy storage and demand response. Jason now works for Portland General Electric managing emerging technology work the utility. Jason lives in Salem with his wife and two children. Jason enjoys people and the great outdoors.

Prior to her work at CCA, Fabi was the lead organizer with the Sierra Club working on the San Gabriel Mountains Forever campaign. These mountains were designated a National Monument by President Obama on October 2014, and her leadership as chair of the campaign's outreach committee was instrumental in achieving this success. Fabi has undergraduate degrees in Interdisciplinary Studies (Public Health concentration) and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Southern California.
